A Unique Summer Camp for Children

The Spirit of Rocky River Ranch was born in 1952 when the gates were first opened to summer adventures. The beautiful Hill Country evergreen hills and skies of deepest blue are the perfect setting for outdoor life in the summer. Our definition of summer fun means days filled with wholesome fun and new friends, many diversified activities and experiences to help campers develop new skills that are educational as well as recreational. Life at Rocky River ranch is lively and every day is a new adventure. Campers are treated to a variety of activities every evening and weekends including a movie at the open air Corral Theater (and the popcorn is delicious), Counselor Hunt (always a lot of fun), The Nutty Miss RRR Contest, Sports Day and Cooperation Day. Special activities might include participation in a special overnight campout, canoe trip, picnic at Canyon Lake Beach, tour of Natural Bridge Caverns or repelling at Enchanted Rock. Unscheduled 'surprises' scattered throughout the week make every day a much anticipated fun adventure.
